    Hello organ chip community!
In your experience, how important has everyone seen mechanical stimulus (shear, stretch, etc.) to be in their intestine models? Would this differ by region of the intestine? Cell line vs organoid model? Would love to hear some thoughts on the topic, interesting papers, or anecdotal experiences as well. Cheers!

    Hi Max,

We have have success with pig jejunum seeded chips using shear and stretch in developing the intestine model. We are currently developing a mouse duodenum model and are currently exploring weather stretch helps or hinders development. I am interested in hearing yours and anyone elses experience. So far I have had difficulty in expanding human duodenum organoids for chip seeding. Peace, John
